Awesome podcast girls! Gustariana had an awesome accent, but I don't recognize it. Hmonster4 was funny and so was Christine at the beginning ahha. Love you guys... and amazing voice Caitlin. But I didn't know if Claire or anybody else was in here... I probably had the volume too low XS.
um...where was Caitlin...?
hahahaha...Caitlin, otherwise known as myself, hadn't gotten any sleep in the two days prior to this recording. Soooo, I kinda zoned out for a lot of it. I could hear them getting very off topic...but I couldn't make myself do anything about it.
Sorry!
What was the Cedric/Harry story mentioned during the main discussion? There was an author mentioned, but I couldn't catch the spelling.
Firstly, thanks so much for taking the time to host these podcasts. I enjoy listening to them and they keep me up-to-date with the fandom (even if I don't get to listen when they are actually posted—I do realise I'm a bit late here).
I just had a comment on the clichés. I know that we do all get sick of reading them, but at the same time, I don't think they should be discouraged. I remember Gondolier saying something on the ficster about her story and how she still incorporates bits from the book, otherwise it wouldn't be fan fiction. Every time I read a "cliché" now, I take it as a nod to canon, rather than thinking it is just unoriginal.
Thanks again!
