Mini Episode One
Author: Tempation Staff // Category: Mini Episode, posted by Caitlin, Show Notes
Hey everyone! Here's the mini episode with our examples of the Audio Fanfiction Contest. We're recording a normal episode this weekend and it should be out on tuesday. Thanks for your support and get your entries in!
EDIT: A few of you may have gotten the first version of this episode. I cannot tell you how embarrasing that is because I accidently put the unedited version of my reading of A World Without Sound in there. So..yea, you got me talking to myself a bit and maybe a random burp in there. I urge you to delete it. Please. Or at least compare it with this and learn about the magic of editing. I'm going to go hide now. Bye.

Claire- I love your attempt at the American Dude accent. It only slipped when you said "year"- which in American English is only one syllable! It was so anglically cute, though.
OMG, you guys were awesome! I didn't think I'd like hearing the stories read, but I totally enjoyed them. The readings brought a new dimension to the stories - sometimes in totally unexpected ways! So glad you did the examples!
Britt
You guys rock!! I really like all of your readings; they were hilarious and dramatic and all in a good way. Your readings got me totally interested in the stories.. :D
I don't know if we're voting here in the comments and it's so HARD to choose but I pick Danielle. Very exciting reading!! :D I really enjoyed Claire's as well. I really like your Emmett voice. LOL.
There's a poll to the right under our affiliates where you can vote for your favorite reading.
I think Claire's winning... not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing, because it *is* my story she's reading...
Hmm.
Ladies, the readings were great. I laughed hysterically during Caitlins reading because I was visualizing it.
Too good.
That was pretty darn funny. They all sounded good, but I liked Claire and Danielle's readings best. I voted for Danielle on the poll though. I think I'm going to enter this contest myself. It should be fun.
EoaE was a little creepy with the music in the backround. I just pictured one of those film noir type movies or a mystery suspense Alfred Hitchcock type of things. It was great!
LMAO @ SMS!! Danielle souded like she was smiling through her whole read. That was great. And I could just imagine Bella doing a three finger snap in front of the her body telling off Edward. That was freaking wonderful!
I haven't read AWWS, but Caitlin definitely made me want to check it out. It was a great segment and her voice charactarization was truly awesome.
Claire's Emmett was brilliant! Omg, I was cracking up with everyone of his lines. And I totally felt Edward's pain ^_^
You were all awesome!
Ladies, that was hilarious! I was laughing throughout most of each of your readings. I have a question though, Christine, were you trying to use your "hick" voice or was that all natural? Not knocking it, I'm from Mississippi, so I have a little Southern drawl as well. I was just curious if it was intentional or not? Okay, so great performance, I thoroughly enjoyed these readings as much as I do everything else you gals put out. I will be eagerly awaiting the next podcast.
~Christina
It was intentional. I was trying to go for a creepy, psycho hick guy voice.
Not natural in the least. My hickishness tends to be a little more subtle than that.
That's what I was thinking but if it was natural, I didn't want you to be like, "Who the hell does this chick think she is?" I laughed; I thought it was funny, well done- mission accomplished!
hahaha I love you Danielle! "But NOTHIN'!"
