Episode Ten: Oh Guts, it's the Decapod!

Author: Tempation Staff // Category: ,
Here's episode ten, the giggle fest, for you. Hope you enjoy. Also, I was finishing this up late last night and falling asleep as I did it. As a result, I decided not to bleep out Claire's swearing (it isn't too bad, right?). So, that's my fault and I apologize if anyone doesn't like it.

Claire - thank you so much for recommending Lost. I read it after you mentioned it in the first time and I absolutely fell in love. It is now one of my all time favorites.

Another great episode! I always look forward to seeing the new podcast update on my iTunes. You all are so hilarious and have great discussions. The whole "Dead and not updating" author thing had me cracking up.

Congrats on your decapodial broadcast. Is there still going to be a live episode to announce the E&B winners? I'm eager to see if my picks get laurels.

Lost by edwardsoul rocks SO hard, i also read it, the first time around you reccommended it, Claire. By the way, I think this is the funniest episode of Temptation. And Claire calling Danielle a 'he' .lol and the whole being run over and dying thing. Priceless!!!.

Keep up the good work. Bye

Great episode, I was laughing right along with you. The email question about making money with fan fic got me thinking back to what is probably the first fan fic I ever read. The book Phantom by Susan Kay is basically a really good fan fic of Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera. It really delves into the characters in ways the original novel couldn't due to its limited POV of the Persian. Instead it started with Erik's mother, then Erik's POV, Christine's POV, and finally Raoul's POV.

Oh.. I just went on qjmom's ff.net profile, and she has pulled down Passion Fish from all the fanfiction sites, because she and the other co-writer are trying to get it published!

everyone should go read De Anima by Audeamus-Amor. It's the best alternate Twilight ever. Seriously.

Another hilarious episode ladies!

Ok, so funny story about this actually. I was sitting in the ER waiting room with my aunt, so I decided to listen to the podcast since I had just updated my iPod. So I'm listening to the podcast right, well this guy walks in looking totally tweaked out, but I'm not really paying too much attention. So Claire starts to talk about the whole "Let us know you're not dead" thing, and I start cracking up. Well, everyone in the room turns to look at me like I'm crazy and I guess that guy tried to ask me what I was laughing about, but I didn't hear him. After that, he walks up to the desk and freaks out and starts throwing the pens and clipboards everywhere, knocks the freaking clock off the wall and then just runs out. It was the craziest shit I have ever seen in my 18.5 years of living and I think my random laughing at you guys set him off. At least that's what my aunt told me.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let you guys know you assisted me in causing some crazy crackhead to fly off the handle. =] Oh, just so you know, I put this in a comment so that everyone can laugh at the craziness. Otherwise I would've just emailed y'all.

Thanks for another wonderful episode, and congrats on the decapod!

-Kayla

I have been listening for a small bit and I think I have a story to recommend, This is for Keeps by simkid.

Its full of lemons and fluff. Don't be fooled by her first story, this is really good, its a crossover of the HBO series TrueBlood(which is from the books, Southern Vampire Novels) were two years ago vampires "came out of the coffin" because of the japanese sythetic blood, TruBlood.

Its set "mainly" it the town Shreveport, LA (jayeliwood anyone) and Bon Temps, LA(Southern Vamps Novel town.) I love it, and the podcast.
