Christine's Edit:
If you read Harry Potter fanfic (yes, I know this is Twilight fanfiction podcast, but come on, we all know we love both fandoms), you should check out Minisinoo's stories. She writes an amazing Harry/Cedric series called Aorist Subjunctive that I LOVE. (And I'm desperately waiting for the fifth installment, coming out this summer.) If you don't like slash, there's also a Cedric/Hermonine series called Finding Himself. The sequel to that is in progress. Now run along, read, love, and review.

"Vampire Peaches" is Vampiric Peaches. But it's funny. It's pretty old too, but I liked reading it.
There are no hyperlinks to the stories...please add?
Well, I'll comment again after I've listened to this episode, I'm listening to Ep. 5.

I saw this site on Top Twilight Podcasts, and thought I'd listen, since I like Fanfiction.
With Ep. 5, I liked the whole music thing, I do that too. I even mentioned how a song had influenced the storyline, but it wasn't a song-fic.

So I loved this episode hard.
Can you keep Kristen, please? lol
I cannot wait for her interview next week.
or for an update on Scotch, Gin and the New Girl.

This episode made me laugh more so than usual.

I love all the off topic-ness.

My favorite side character is Seth and I really want to read a good Seth/OC fic.

Awesome episode as usual.

We'd keep Kristen, if we could. Well, I'd keep her, but Jandco might beat me up for even thinking about it.

The interview next week is actually going to be with me, not Kristen. I know it's confusing with how similar our names are. Sorry 'bout that.

And, as always, I hate my voice. Oh, did anyone else catch the two or three times my hick accent came out? One was when I said 'country'.

Gah.

Last thing: I wasn't kidding about the Edlisle plea. You can PM on FF.net or Twilighted.net, or email the podcast, or if you know my email address, send me an email with a link! I'm dying, y'all. I need good Edlisle like a dog needs to lick his balls.

DESPERATELY.

Soo.... since y'all read the Djinn you gotta read erotic fans other fics: Poetry in Motion (which has an Edward that reminds me of Midnight Desire, actually) and Acting Out - which is EdwardxBellaxJacob. She writes the best smut. She has like no reviews on FF -- even though she has a much larger presence on Twilighted. So, go check her out.

Oh, and thanks for the nice things you said about me. I'm all warm and fuzzy now. :-)

I'm actually in the middle of your podcast, but I thought I'd mention that I got into fanfic through Roswell too, like, 7 years ago. Although, I mostly read Michael/Maria fic. Anyway, I thought that was funny.

I love you all...

Half Brown you give me tears.

Christine Says :

Yeah! Another Rosweller. Michael/Maria stuff was okay, but really... I was a huge Max/Liz person. The guy who played Max is crazy hot, even with the goofy ears. It's all in the eyes and he has some great eyes.

Sorry Leah is so unpopular. :-( One of the main reasons I wrote Cowboys & Indians was to present a more native Leah, and took her in a slightly different direction than traditional canon. BUT I do understand how she might not appeal to everyone. Also a real quick request, if y'all don't mind? Could you switch the link for C&I to my website? The fanfic.net version isn't the cleanest and the one on my website is better. It even has pretty pictures. Ha.)

BUT if I converted anybody to Cedric/Harry? I'm not the LEAST bit guilty about that! *grin* Or if I converted anybody to Cedric at all. Ha.

Listening the episode mad me see what tag looks like when applied to a podcast. Kristin added nicely to the show, though. I would love to an episode that highlights 1. Pre-Twilight tales and 2. Fics set in the Twilight world but not specifically centered on Twilight characters, i.e. original characters, extrememly minor characters that get some limelight. I'd love to see a Didmye fic. Anybody know of one?

sorry about skipping words above. I type 90 WPM, but think 100 WPM, so it usually has gaps if I rush. I rushed.

I'm not really anonymous, I'm Jaxidy, but my computer hates me, so here we are.
Good episode, good topics, good fics, good job.
I liked the teen marriage rants. Um, I got married at the age of 17. I'm not saying that I think anyone else should, but I did. And I'm happy, so it can work.
I'm writing a one-shot now because I'm so inspired. It's sort of minor character one, with Angela, I think I'll call it The Last Link, yeah, that's good. You inspire me.

I got married at 18, and I'm saying don't. Ever. Never ever never ever never ever.

Yep, another great episode! I've downloaded a lot of podcasts in my time, but I think this is the first one where I've been really impatient to get the next episode! I love my fangirl geek-out time!

I've been trying to keep up with your fic recs, but real life keeps rudely interrupting. Any chance you could specially mark fics in your episode notes that come super-highly recommended (ie "you must drop everything and read this NOW!")? That way when I'm looking for something to entertain myself with on my lunch break I can quickly find something awesome. Just a suggestion...

:-D

You must drop everything and read now: She's Royal by halojones. Just do it. Now.

cdunbar, you watched Firefly? You love Broken by Alice_laughed? You read Roswell fic?! (I WRITE ROSWELL FIC!) -And- you write geek!Edward.

*sigh* Kay, I'm officially becoming your e-stalker. Except, y'know, less creepy and [hopefully] more subtle.

As for the public: if ya'll want to read some AMAZING side character/pairing stories, rush over to ff.net and find princesswingnut's author page. She did an excellent Leah story and an "oh-wow-how-is-it-possible-that-something-can-be-this-good?!" Embry story. She's also currently writing a WIP about Benjamin from Breaking Dawn that is just off the charts in fantasticalness.

"You must drop everything and read now: She's Royal by halojones. Just do it. Now."

Yes, ma'am!

Just went and read it. You're right it's awesome! But the cliff-hanger is killing me! You're evil, you know that?!?

:-)

Tempation Staff Says :
February 11, 2009 at 9:36 PM

I'm not evil...I'm the ultimate halojones fangirl..thats all. And, at least you didn't get the cliffhanger we had. You know, two chapters before that when Bella is behind the outhouses...yea, for like two months....man, I don't like to remember those days.

Christine Says :
February 12, 2009 at 9:47 PM

Ahem... I'd like to take this moment to do a little squee about having my own e-stalker.

*SQUEE*

Okay. All better now.
