Thanks so much to the three co-hostesses for indulging my questions. It was nice to hear a discussion of each topic and I appreciate your willingness to "go there" with them.

Love the episode title; I can't read it without dissolving into a fit of giggles.

LOL so my story is on here, but the penname is WRONG. It's Breaking Bella by sixeightshuffle!

Hey I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I'm one of the author's co-hosting the Pirate Talking Contest and we've decided to extend the deadline until Friday, June 26th.

I'm only partway through the episode, but I thought I would pop in and give my initial thoughts.

The database I believe you are talking about is the Social Security Death Index (SSDI) and it contains the ssn, name, date of birth, date of death and other information of most deceased persons who were reported to the Social Security Administration (at least going back to 1962) in the US. However, I don't believe it is updated in real time, there is probably a lag between death and reporting to the site. /nerdspeak off.

I have been a part of many an internet community and this entire "faking your death" is not uncommon. Both of the communities I joined while pregnant with each of my children had more than one person fake a pregnancy which would ultimately result in a stillbirth or a child who died shortly after birth - taking a bunch of hormonal pregnant women close to childbirth completely over the edge. The only rhyme or reason behind this that I have ever been able to discern is that these people are sick twisted drama whores who thrive off of getting people all worked up over nothing. I have no idea if this is true or untrue, however if it is true that she faked her death, she needs professional help and yesterday.

I couldn't agree more about the rapefics. I believe it demeans the very difficult healing process and stark reality of rape/abuse to turn it into something titillating and exciting. It just isn't. I know women who have been raped and no, they never once found it a turn on, they never fell in love with their attacker - not even the ones who knew them prior to being raped and they still to this day have issues with what happened to them. To reduce such a life changing event to something for entertainment purposes is gross. It is one thing to have the event treated with the magnitude that it deserves (such as recovering from rape/abuse), but to pass it off as sexually stimulating is just, just NO.

When I saw your episode title before I was able to listen, I totally pondered how hymenized vampBella would fare with sex, lol. Thanks for making my giggle.

Good times, good times.

I wanna be Tasha's friend.

I love conspiracy theories, the DaddysLittleCannibal one is intruiging. I'm really sorry if it's true, and I'm really unamused if it's not. It's the Elvis Effect.

I'd love to listen to this episode but it seems like it won't let me download the link/the podcast. I'm having a slight trouble and I'm not sure why it's responding so strangely.

If you're doing a direct download, it doesn't work with internet explorer. You need firefox.

Thanks for another great podcast. Tasha was a riot! I love the length of the podcast, but you could tighten the Music Game a little. My suggestion is that the music clips can be planned and songs cut to a uniformed time. Keep up the great work!

Liked the episode. Tasha was pretty funny.
Honestly, I'd cut the music game. That's just me, I usually skip it because I don't really enjoy it. It's also better with less people on the show. Less chaotic.

And I kind of laughed at the Jessica discussion. As you can tell, my name is Jess.

Great episode! Tasha was really funny.

I think I 'cheated' a bit on the Alice thing for the Bellies. The ones I picked were ones which stay pretty close to canon (like Alice from Dark Side of the Moon and The Boy in the Cafeteria).

Caitlin, I'm so glad you rec'ed The Tutor, that fic is awesome and deserves more attention.

I love the music game! Don't cut it out. I don't mind the episode length as long as you're actually talking about fanfic and fandom related things. I think if you want to cut out something, you could cut out some of the really off topic stuff and inside jokes. Also sometimes, there's a lot of random waiting, like when someone is trying to figure out what song to play or you're just waiting for someone to answer something and they're thinking about it.

Loved the episode! It definitely made sense, and I agree with you on the rape concept — it takes a lot for rape victims to heal again. I'm writing a fanfiction where Jacob raped Bella before the fic started, and now as I re-read over it, I realize she should seriously heal much slower.... ¬¬ Also realized how condescending I sounded within my authors notes...
Also, Tasha — Mac's forever. We rock. :)
