So... who remembers that time when we said we were going to have this live episode and then record it so others could listen to it later?

Well, if you were there for the epic failure known as our first live episode attempt, you know what I'm about to say. If you weren't, I'm sorry in advance.

We didn't record it. Actually, we could only get Claire and me on the 'air' for the announcements.

The winners will be posted on the Eddies and Bellies site soon, so don't fret if you didn't hear who won. (I'll give you a hint, though. 'Wide Awake' is a very popular story.)

However, we are going to put together the recordings that we (the co-hosts) did of each other's stories for you guys to enjoy at home. Then we'll put up a poll on this page, asking you to vote on your favorite recording. This is separate from the reader audio fanfiction contest we're running. It's just kind of a fun little thing we did because we didn't want to be left out.

Oh, okay. We'll keep the page, but I don't think we'll use it, unless we decide to one day do a video cast. No promises, though.

Sorry again to everyone who showed up and to those who missed it, thinking they would get the results later. We humbly apologize and concede the fact that, while we're still hard core awesome, without Caitlin, technology tends to fail for us.

So it's all Caitlin's fault for not being there. (Hah!)

For those of you who wanted more time to read the stories nominated for the Eddies and Bellies... guess what? You've got it!

Limona and WtVoC have decided to extend voting for another week, ending on March 4th instead of tomorrow.

This decision was mostly made because of all the ff.net fail (anyone else having problems signing in?), but I think they've also realized how hard it is for one person to read all those great stories in just one week.

Sadly, this also means the live Awards Announcement episode we were planning on having this Saturday night isn't going to happen. We'll let you guys know when it's going to take place, since we still need to talk about it amongst ourselves.

In other news, episode 9 is being worked on, but apparently Audacity's hatred toward Claire wasn't cleared up last week when she apologized for calling it a dumb, b****y, piece of s***. Also something about siccing a virus on it if it didn't start behaving... Audacity's very sensitive about things like that. Who knew?

We'll get it up as soon as we can.

And don't forget about our first listener contest! I know it's not nearly as exciting as Psymom's new fanfic contest (*sigh* How I wish I was that creative...), but it's still cool in its own right.

So, here are the things for y'all to do: (in no particular order)
1. Read all the great stories nominated for an Eddie or Bellie, and then vote
2. Record yourself reading a passage from one of your favorite fanfics
3. Glare at ff.net's log in screen when it denies you admittance for the hundredth time
4. Keep an eye out for our 9th episode and when the live episode's going to take place

Hey guys! This is cdunbar on Twilighted and FanFiction and I was graciously invited to be a co-host on this lovely podcast. I just got done adding my bit to the second episode.

I'm really excited to be a part of this and I hope I can add something to the discussions, rather than just be another voice you hear (and, oh god, do I hate the sound of my voice!). Sadly, I don't really read many canon stories, so I didn't have much to add this time. But I hope to fix that with the third episode.

The second episode is coming... either later today or tomorrow.

Be sure to thank Caitlin for putting all that work into editing, and for making us sound somewhat intelligent.
